Well this isnt like my regular stuff! I had these beads but didnt know what to do with them - hope you like

It is made from lampwork glass beads and tiny dyed pink Jade beads finished with a sterling silver toggle clasp.

Make a day - Murano Earrings

Well unfortunately this week I am a little behind - mainly due to the fact by the time ive made things and got round to photographing it is pitch black and you cant see my pics.

These are Murano glass earrings on really funky sterling silver feature ear wires.

Make a day - Rose Quartz Necklace

This is what ive made today. Its a really chunky necklace with a Rose Quartz rose pendant which is enhanced by the black Lava beads, silver Freshwater Pearls and the mini Swarovski Crystals.

Today I have made a set of jewellery. I made the bracelet before christmas and decided to make a simple pendant and earrings.

Made from beautifull heart shaped pearls these would be great for a wedding but can be worn again and again.

My New Years Resolutions

I thought I would make my resolutions public so I have no excuses not to do them.

I set up my business in May of last year so this will be my first full year, I didnt really have any business goals in mind last year but this year it will all change.

I have figued out that certain events dont really work for me so I will try and find events that do this year.

I am also going to expand into the wedding market to offer the bride,bridesmaid and groom (as well as guests) a bespoke service.
I am experimenting with an idea to make wedding keepsake jewellery so bear with me on that.

My resolutions for 2010:

• Add at least 10 items a day to various sites including Etsy, Misi, Folksy and my own site.
• Set myself proper business goals for the next year
• Get at least one stockist a month
• Make at least 5 pieces of jewellery a day
• Come up with a marketing campaign
• Attend at least 1 BIG event in 2010

The pressure is on for me to achieve all this now!

One a day - Twisted Necklace

Today I have been sorting out my craft room which is taking forever!

I have also finished off a necklace I started making a while ago. Its made from bronze and brown beads, tiny brown pearls and smokey quartz chips. There is a chunky brown glass heart pendant at the bottom.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this necklace.

Well a number of us "crafties" have set ourselves the challenge of creating one item a day and featuring it on our blogs.

Well my blog never really got off the ground when I set it up, but its a new year I have set myself a load of business challenges and this shall be one of them.
